Lighthouse Solar Installation Featured on Extreme Home Makeover in Texas

The Zrodj family lost their home in one of the largest wildfires in Texas history. Mizzy Zdroj spent her time fighting as a local volunteer firefighter to protect other homes in the area while her own burned to ashes.  

Extreme Home Makeover rebuilt the Zdroj family a home just in time for the holidays of 2012 (View episode here - aired December 3, 2012). Lighthouse Solar in Austin was proud to be a part of this heartfelt event.

Lighthouse Solar donated and built a solar powered carport for the Zdroj family that will be used to power their home. This new home is a completely net-zero - utilizing solar power, rain water catchment and geothermal elements.
