Lead Installer Needed: Boulder, Colorado

Overview

The Lead Installer manages his/her crew and is responsible for the successful implementation of all aspects of the installation.  The Lead Installer reports to the Construction Manager.

Responsibilities

• Perform PV installations according to Lighthouse Solar standard procedures
• Maintain the highest level of professionalism and customer service

• Manage and train crewmembers
• Take instruction from Construction Manager
• Enforce Lighthouse Solar safety procedures
• Coordinate project with Construction Manager and Project Manager
• Maintain clean jobsite
• Communicate with home and business owners
• Communicate with office and warehouse staff
• Attend inspection as needed
• Additional duties as required

Requirements

• NABCEP Installer Certification
• Solar installation experience
• Carpentry, roof, or electrical experience
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Ability to work on roofs and ladders
• Ability to work on feet for long periods of time
• Ability to work in personal protection equipment
• Work 40 hours per week minimum
• Excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of all construction codes
• Commitment to safety
• Valid driver’s license

Compensation:

• $18.00-$25.00 per hour, depending on experience
• Incentive program based on successful completion of projects
• Cash incentive for successful installations

Installer Needed: Boulder, Colorado

The Installer provides support to the crew Lead Installer and fellow crewmembers.  The installer reports to the crew Lead Installer and Construction Manager.

Responsibilities

• Perform PV installations according to Lighthouse Solar standard procedures
• Maintain the highest level of professionalism and customer service

• Take instruction from Lead Installer and Construction Manager
• Follow Lighthouse Solar safety procedures
• Maintain clean jobsite
• Communicate with home and business owners
• Communicate with office staff
• Additional duties as required

Requirements

• Solar experience strongly preferred
• Carpentry, roof, or electrical experience preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Ability to work on roofs and ladders
• Ability to work on feet for long periods of time
• Ability to work in personal protection equipment
• Ability to work 40 hours per week minimum
• Excellent customer service skills
• Commitment to safety
• Valid driver’s license

• $14.00-$20.00 per hour, depending on experience
